A driving anxiety for me is the sustainability of the world and whether or not my kids will get to live in a better world than the one I was born into. What many scientists and experts will tell you is that the answer to that question is objectively, no.
More than Monkeys
It’s the gas of human emotions. Given the choice between filling someone’s tank with fear or hope, people will often choose the former because fear is much more economical. Fear goes a long way when trying to achieve results, but at some point, we must acknowledge its exacting toll on our hearts and minds. It’s an overly caffeinated emotion that makes it hard to sleep at night.
Don’t Refund the Future
The road that leads to a brighter future is the one that is always under construction. To take that idea even further, the road to a brighter future can’t be reached with conventional roads- we can only get there with courage, innovation, and vision.
