Pleased to Meet You!

I’m Jordan and for the last 18 years, I’ve been a leader in the hospitality industry in Edmonton. I am passionate about making space for everyone who is on a journey in one form or another. I consider myself a student of hospitality and I’m on an ongoing journey of learning how to do life and work better. Here you’ll find my thoughts along the journey. I like to write about: Hospitality, Leadership, and Faith.

I currently serve as the Community Manager of two vibrant Urban Village communities and have served in a variety of branded and independent brand hotels over many years. My wife and I live in Edmonton with our two boys. In my spare time, you’ll find me reading, listening to music, and pouring the best cup of coffee. We are proud to be living within Treaty 6 territory and Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. I acknowledge this land as the traditional home for many Indigenous Peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Dene, Saulteaux, Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose cultures are important and continue to shape the community we call Edmonton today. I remain committed to listening to and supporting indigenous voices in our community.
